The IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (PVSC) is proud to host the 46th PVSC June 16-21, 2019 at the Sheraton Grand in Chicago, Illinois.

We live at a special time when solar electricity has become cost competitive with conventional electricity in many locations, enabling remarkable growth of the industry. In 2017, solar was the biggest contributor to net expansion of electricity generating capacity (see figure to right). The 46th IEEE PVSC will help sustain that momentum with ~ 1000 papers from around the world, reflecting today’s dynamic and expanding markets. 
The conference Exhibition will showcase the latest developments in PV characterization and manufacturing equipment, and is set to further enhance attendee awareness on latest tools and instrumentation as well as to facilitate exchange between scientists, technical experts and exhibitors.
